Autologous Regenerative Therapy
Your Body's Own Repair Kit.
Concentrated platelets from your own blood, FDA-cleared, performed in 30 minutes, and delivering up to 18x the normal platelet count directly to the tissue that needs it.
The Basics
What Is PRP Therapy?
Platelet Rich Plasma, PRP, is one of the most widely studied and trusted regenerative therapies in modern medicine. It works by harnessing something remarkable about your own biology: platelets, the cells best known for forming blood clots, are also the body's primary delivery system for growth factors. When tissue is damaged, platelets rush to the site and release a cascade of biological signals that orchestrate repair.
PRP therapy takes this natural process and amplifies it. We draw a small amount of your blood, process it in a centrifuge using FDA-cleared preparation systems, and separate out a platelet concentrate that contains up to 6x, 12x, or even 18x the normal platelet count, with documented yields of five billion or more platelets in just a few milliliters. That concentrate is then injected directly at the site of your injury, delivering an overwhelming dose of repair signals exactly where they're needed.
Because PRP is autologous, meaning it comes from your own body, there is no risk of rejection or disease transmission. The entire procedure takes about 30 minutes and uses only FDA-cleared preparation systems.
All PRP Is Not Created Equal.
It's worth knowing that not all PRP is the same. Modern PRP formulations go well beyond the simple single-spin preparations of a decade ago. Depending on the clinical goal, today's protocols can remove red blood cells to reduce inflammation, adjust neutrophil content for immune modulation, or enhance specific growth factor and granulocyte profiles. The PRP protocols we use are chosen deliberately for each patient's condition, tendon, joint, hair, or aesthetic, not pulled off a single one-size-fits-all shelf.
Process
How It Works
The journey from sourcing to treatment, each stage designed to deliver safe, potent regenerative care.
Simple Blood Draw
At your appointment, we draw a small amount of your blood, typically 30 to 60 mL, similar to a routine lab draw. No prior fasting or special preparation required.
FDA-Cleared Processing
Your blood is processed in an FDA-cleared centrifuge system that separates plasma, platelets, and red blood cells, using parameters tailored to your specific clinical application.
High-Concentration PRP
The final product delivers 6x to 18x the normal platelet concentration, up to five billion platelets in about 5 mL, ready for precise injection.
Tailored Formulation
Depending on the target tissue, we may use a leukocyte-rich or leukocyte-poor formulation, adjust red blood cell content, or optimize growth factor and granulocyte profiles.
Ultrasound-Guided Injection
The concentrate is injected into the target tissue, often under ultrasound guidance, ensuring the PRP reaches precisely the damaged area.
Natural Healing Cascade
Your platelets release growth factors over the following days and weeks, signaling tendon, ligament, cartilage, or dermal cells to begin repairing.

Why Patients Choose It
Benefits
What makes PRP Therapy appealing compared to traditional pain management approaches, and why it may be worth considering before surgery.
Autologous, From You
Because PRP comes from your own blood, there is no risk of allergic reaction, rejection, or disease transmission.
FDA-Cleared Systems
Every PRP preparation is made using FDA-cleared centrifuge and concentration systems with documented performance.
Fast Procedure
The entire appointment, blood draw, processing, and injection, typically takes about 30 minutes, with minimal disruption to your day.
High Concentration
Modern protocols deliver 6x, 12x, or 18x platelet concentrations, five billion or more platelets in a single injection.
Versatile Applications
Beyond orthopedic uses, PRP is an excellent option for hair restoration and aesthetic skin treatments, all from the same draw.
Minimal Downtime
Most patients return to work and daily activities the next day, with only temporary soreness at the injection site.
Your Experience
What to Expect
A clear picture of your procedure, from the moment you arrive to the weeks that follow.
Procedure Day
Arrive for your appointment, blood draw takes a few minutes, processing takes roughly 10 to 15 minutes, and the injection itself is brief. You'll be out in about 30 minutes total.
Initial Response
Mild soreness and a low-grade ache at the injection site are normal, this is the inflammatory cascade initiating the repair process. Avoid ibuprofen and anti-inflammatories during this window, as they can blunt the biological response.
Early Healing
The initial soreness resolves and repair begins in earnest. Most patients return to light exercise during this window, with heavier activity reintroduced gradually.
Noticeable Improvement
Most patients experience a meaningful reduction in pain and improvement in function by this point. We typically schedule a follow-up to assess progress.
Full Benefit
PRP-mediated tissue remodeling continues for months. Peak benefit is usually reached between two and three months post-treatment. For some conditions, a series of treatments delivers the best outcome.
Is This Right For You?
Is PRP Therapy a Good Fit?
PRP is an excellent first-line regenerative option for many conditions, particularly chronic tendonitis, partial ligament injuries, early-stage osteoarthritis, and chronic tendon problems that haven't responded to physical therapy or cortisone.
It's also a strong choice for patients who want a regenerative approach but prefer to start with their own biology rather than a cellular product, or for those who want a faster and more affordable entry point into regenerative care.
For advanced arthritis or complex multi-tissue injuries, PRP may be combined with stem cell therapy or recommended as a series of treatments rather than a single injection. Your consultation with Manju will determine the right approach for your specific situation.
